CACTUS BLOSSOM

One of our cactuses has just flowered. This is a Mamillaria and its golden yellow blossoms are quite magnificent.

    Lovely Nick, it is embarrassing, but i haven't seen a cactus picture up close, aside from the Epiphyllum oxypetalum, haha!

    you are so lucky. I love cactus flowers. This have a lovely color. Not that strong. :)

    Are you familiar with Georgia O'Keefe? She painted large flowers during the 30s and 40s before cameras could do as you have done. This flower reminds me of her art.
