ReplyDeleteI used to live in Australia near Garden City Shopping Center. Lorikeets would swarm into the trees at the the shopping center around sunset. There would be hundreds of them in the same tree sometimes having a huge party. It's like it was their social hotspot or something. The sounds of them "talking" to each other was almost deafening at times but I loved it. If you are in the Brisbane area, you should really check it out. I miss hearing them socialize en masse.
