LA TROBE UNIVERSITY LAKES & BRIDGES

La Trobe University is a multi-campus university in Victoria, Australia. It was established in 1964 by an Act of Parliament to become the third oldest university in the state of Victoria. The main campus of La Trobe is located in the Melbourne suburb of Bundoora. This is campus set in a large landscaped setting in which a lakes system features prominently. The University's water system communicates with a wildlife reserve. It is a beautiful campus with many an idyllic spot for both study and play.

  2. What a gorgeous spot. Enjoyed seeing the bridges, but that water lily’s to be my favorite shot of the day. I cannot wait for mine to start poking their heads out of the water in our little fake ponds. genie

  4. The bridge looks like a peaceful place to watch for birds, and the lily pads and flowers are beautiful. Too bad they can become a nuisance when they take over the waterways. - Margy

  5. Love the reflections of the greenery in the first one - feels like laying in the grass all day with a book!
    And a beautiful waterlily!

  6. I've just read and hear La Trobe but didn't know it has lake systems in it. If only i am still younger i would like to study there too. I've seen Univ Sydney, Macquarie, Univ NSW, Armidale and my friends were in other universities there but i think i like La Trobe.
