That doesn't look like Ivy to me. Is that a variant or just the picture being too close to the leaves for me to see it properly? (or just me knowing zero about plants - ha!)
Yes, it is ivy, Lydia. When the plant flowers long spikes grow above the main plant and the typical ivy leaves change shape to this and the flowers appear! :-)
Those are delicate little flowers which are good to see this time of year in the Northern Hemisphere.
