FIGTREE FUN

This huge ficus tree with its prodigious roots was found in the Yarra Bend Park in Melbourne, Australia. After some playing with Photoshop I obtained some interesting results.

This post is part of the Monday Mellow Yellows meme,
and also part of the Mandarin Orange Monday meme,
and also part of the Nature Footsteps Inspiring Photography meme.

  2. Every time I see a tree with roots like that I wish I had my camera...we have a few nearby at Callan Park. Your editing did wonders.... and the last one is quite eerie. That one, and the second last, are my favourites.

  5. This series of photos is like an eerie adventure in an Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole exploring the eerie secrets of a tree. Fascinating.
