BRISBANE RIVER, DAY
There are 11 government-owned state boat harbours in Queensland which were developed to promote small-craft activities and support marine-related industries along the Queensland coast. Maritime Safety Queensland provides boat-users with access to Queensland waterways by delivering recreational boating infrastructure for Queenslanders in conjunction with local government, port authorities and private developers. The Brisbane river is a superb, but very busy waterway on which all sorts of boating activities can be enjoyed. More information from the Queensland Government Maritime Safety site.
