FLYING IN TO MELBOURNE

Flying in to Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport, one is treated to some lovely views of the rolling countryside surrounding the metropolis. Many farms surround Melbourne and one can see the lushness of the vegetation in a good year where there has been lots of rain. These photos are from December 2011.

  4. Great shots, Nick. It can be surprising that these rolling, rural hills are close to our metropolis.

  6. Lovely and green rolling hills. The same goes for Perth, only no green ( as yet ) to be seen. You must be getting more rain.
The pictures are very good, it often is hard to get clear pics from a plane.
