The Yarra River at Fairfield, about 6 km from the city centre. We are so lucky to have this great expanse of natural reserves and parklands right in the middle of the metropolis.

We are seeing some hot Summer days lately and the sky turns a brilliant pure blue that highlights the green gold of the eucalypts and the red of the earth. It is fortunate that we are able to live in a place where we can still enjoy the beauty of nature close to a big city, and also more than lucky to live in a country where things are not as bad as what most of the rest of the world is experiencing at the moment. For that I am thankful.
