Thousands of people across Australia's southeast were asked to evacuate their homes on Friday, including many country towns close to overflowing rivers and dams, after two days of incessant rains triggered flash flooding and fast-moving waters burst river banks. Large parts of Victoria state, southern New South Wales and the northern regions of the island state of Tasmania were pounded by an intense weather system with some taking more than a month's worth of rain since late Wednesday. The town of Rochester in central Victoria was inundated as you can see in the photo above.

  1. it is really chaos on this earth, and we now know the reasons for it. here in Europe, it is widespread drought. In the south-west of France, in the middle of autumn, it will be 30° Celsius for a week. We hope that the rain will fall reasonably and without too much precipitation. The terrible thing is that all this is repeated from one hemisphere to the other without finding the means to remedy it. I hope you are not too exposed to all these vicissitudes.
