QUINCE FLOWERS

On a walk by the creek a few weeks back we discovered a quince tree growing on the bank. It must have sprouted there from  a discarded quince, and in flower it looked quite wonderful amongst all the wild vegetation.

    I thought quinces are orange. I'll have to go look it up. I do like the idea of a bluish blossom giving forth an orange fruit.
