NATIVE HEATH

Erica ventricosa magnifica (Erica Candy Pink   Show N Tell™), is a small evergreen shrub with bright pink tubular, waxy flowers that appear in late winter and spring. Foliage is soft and downy. It is ideal for garden beds, borders and is an excellent cut flower. An added bonus is that it is attractive to honeyeater birds.

It grows to 1m x 1m height and width and is an Australian native plant. It enjoys a full sun position, and it is wise to avoid root disturbance once planted. Remove up to one third of foliage after flowering to maintain compact shape and encourage growth.

  3. Such an unusual plant. Many of your native plants do well here in the Southwestern region of the U.S. This is one I hope I someday see locally.
