First of all the gumnuts are a very cool looking plant! I like your digitized versions, probably the last two best with the contrasting background colors. How do you change the color of the background without changing the foreground?
Hello, Jane. To select the background (sky) only, I used the "magic wand" selection tool in Photoshop. This selects the whole of the sky (which is more or less the same shade) and then I can change the colour and texture of background only.
Nick I love your work today! Not only have you a great eye for photography...but also for digital art. My very favourite is your last one.. but hard to choose:) thanks for taking part in Mandarin Orange Monday:)
I love the smell of the various Eucalyptus trees, I wish I could get a sniff. I like your color manipulations and the textural details when transformed into a sketch.
