RED EARTH OF THE OUTBACK

These shots were taken in the South Australian Outback when we were driving back to Melbourne from Darwin in the North. The red of the soil is due to the large amount of iron oxides in it.

  7. Wow! Is that a brilliant red color. The red soil that I've seen in Southwest U.S. has a dull red look to it.
