CAMILLE PISSARO ROSE

The Camille Pissaro rose is a yellow blend Floribunda rose, bred by G. Delbard (France, 1996).  It is a striking, striped yellow and red rose with a moderate, apple/rose fragrance.  Double (17-25 petals) blooms form, prolifically in flushes throughout the season.   The bush attains a height of 100 to 120 cm and width of 50 to 60 cm. USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower or as a decorative garden rose. It is quite disease resistant.

We have this rose in our garden, where this photo was taken and it has rewarded us with many spectacular blooms.

This post is part of the Floral Friday Fotos meme.

  5. What a stunning mix of colours. thanks for your recent comments on my blog posts as well.
You may have noticed I am not online or blogging much at the moment, please forgive me.

Last weekend we were away celebrating a special Wedding Anniversary, post to follow about the beautiful place we visited. Since our return on Monday evening I have been with out my main computer, problems with the hard drive. It is back now but like a new one, so I am having to get it all adjusted for me all over again!

I will not be around much in the weeks to come either as we have more celebrating to do and friends coming to stay. It will be a case of blog less and live more. However I promise I am not deserting you and will still be posting and reading blogs, just maybe not commenting or posting as often as you have been used to seeing.
